Family cafés

Our family cafés are open meeting places for parents and

 At the family cafés, you can meet other families with children that are

living in your area. We offer coffee & tea and pleasant activities.

Workers are also welcome to visit our family cafés.

Family Hangouts

Family Hangouts are open meeting places in Meri-Rastila.

At the hangouts, you can meet other families with children living in your area and receive

individualised assistance. There will always be an MLL employee present at each hangout.

Online groups

Language-based family cafés

Our online language-based family cafés are spaces where people can discuss various everyday life topics

and themes raised by the participants in their mother tongue. These groups are aimed specifically at women.

Mums’ Hangouts

At Mums’ Hangouts, different topics, including family life, school, work, hobbies and other current issues, are discussed

in plain Finnish.

 This will give you the chance to get to know

new people and cultures. Mums’ Hangouts are aimed specifically at women.

Language café group (Kielicafe)

In our language café group, you can learn Finnish through discussing different topics.

This is done through reading plain language texts and learning everyday words.

The language café group is suitable for all those who are learning Finnish.

Parent groups

The ABC group is aimed at parents of children aged 3-12.

Individualised assistance

We offer assistance and advise in everyday matters in different languages. You can book an appointment with our employees.
