The aim of Onnila - the house of children, youth and families, is to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness. We offer support based on participation, equality and voluneering. Our idea is to create new opportunities and bring together different kinds of support and extracurricular activity, while enhancing the cooperation between the city, organizations and the congregation.
Onnila is being coordinated by Mannerheimin Lastensuojeluliiton Uudenmaan piiri and financed by the city of Kerava. Warmly welcome to build the happiest place of togetherness in the city of Kerava!
Welcome to meet other families, play, chat, and have coffee. Onnila is open to all families from Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 12 PM and on Mondays from 1 PM to 4 PM.
Tuesdays are reserved for baby families with baby meetups from 1 PM to 3 PM, and on Wednesdays and Thursdays, the space is reserved for school children's open afternoon activities.
In the evenings, Onnila hosts various groups and family cafes for more specific target groups, such as dad cafes or evenings for parents of children with special needs.
Coordinators are available from Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM. Please book an appointment if you need guidance, advice, or a personal discussion time.
